From my point of view there is no increase in Anti-Semitism is England or Australia. What is happening there is a very vocal Palestinian group which is dominating the news, media and other outlets. They are very proficient in getting their warped point across. Most Australians continue to support Israel. What is surprising is the police are letting them get away with it!!!
Decades ago, magazines in the US featured pictures of Jewish civilians (at least in the sense of not being uniformed police nor military) with rifles in their hands--including women. It was our impression that Israelis were routinely armed.
On October 7th we learned that even uniformed soldiers did not always have ready access to rifles: including soldiers on the border reporting on Hamas military movements...after Hamas repeatedly said they were going to invade AND posted videos on how they were going to do it...AND the border watchers confirmed it all with repeatedly warnings.
Were our original impressions wrong, or did Israel change?
