I think calling an end to the war is essential - but until Hamas is removed, I don’t see how Israel can withdraw from the Philadelphia Corridor or even the Netzarim Corridor. And the problem of food distribution with UNRWA needs to be better resolved.

God hasn’t forgotten the world and is still in control, but He allows us the freedom to do what we think is right and we are gifted with a conscience.

Saying that, the IDF aren’t responsable for every shooting of the people at the GHF. There are videos out that prove that Hamas are killing their own people to stop “collaboration” with Israel.

Diverting so many IDF units to the West Bank was a key factor in allowing the Oct. 7 attack to succeed. They left the Gaza border virtually undefended, when even a small force, if on duty, could have repelled the invaders that day.

Israel can certainly declare victory and go home. But Hamas will do the same. Which "declaration" will serve Israel's requirements best? How will both declarations be received by Israerl's friends and enemies?

I think at this point, after defeating Hezbollah, effectively defeating Iran, I don't think that Hamas claiming victory over a devastated Gaza Strip will hold much weight. Would it have been better if they had collapsed totally, yes, but after 631 days, this is enough.
