You say of Trump "at this stage in his current term, he has yet to take any action that would meet the standard for a Nobel Peace Prize". And yet Obama received his Nobel for his Cairo speech and "for creating a “new climate” and inspiring global hope in the role of diplomacy" according to Chatgpt.com. Certainly the Abraham Accords are a greater achievement than a speech and the creation of a "new climate" and "inspiring global hope in the role of diplomacy". It is an actual accomplishment, as opposed to Obama's mere words.

There is no question that Obama did not deserve the prize. The Abraham Accords were 5 years ago, so not relevant for a Nobel now, it was great for Israel and the countries involved, but there was no war ongoing between Israel and the countries involved. If Trump gets a ceasefire in Gaza or peace between Israel and Lebanon or Syria then he certainly will deserve the prize

Peace with Lebanon will happen if they can get rid of or disarm hizbollah. Gaza? Sometimes I think the only answer is to remove the civilians and raze the rest to the ground, but the hostages….. Hamas are using them to make Israel play ball, and it works. Another ceasefire? Another 60 days for Hamas to prepare the ground for the IDF and still there will be live hostages remaining. Israel can’t win this war as long as there are living hostages, so Hamas holds the field. Has the Israeli government, the citizenship, the parents, spouses, children of the hostages, the willingness, the courage to let them go so Israel can win? I don’t think so. I don’t think I could.
